Fox News' very own Megyn Kelly went on Jimmy Kimmel's late-night talk show to debate their thoughts and opinions about the cancelled release of The Interview. As the debate heated up, the two then went on to discuss whether or not Fox News should air the James Franco and Seth Rogen comedy in its entirety on the channel amid the terrorist threats

As we previously mentioned, Sony has pulled the plug on the controversial comedy. What was supposed tongue-in-cheek assassination attempt on North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un turned into a nasty Sony company-wide email hack. There was an overflow of leaked information about upcoming films and damning evidence against studio executives about how they talk about some of the biggest stars in the world.

When the hackers sent out a warning message, implying a terrorist attack of 9/11 proportions, major theater chains had no interest of showing the movie. With the comedy flick being pulled from theaters before its release date, Sony had no choice but to cancel the film's premiere, as well as their distribution deals; with no plans of VOD/DVD releases either.

According to Deadline, the Fox News Channel personality was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC. The guest and host went on to discuss the Sony hacking attack and the terrorist threats to the movie theaters. During the topical debate, the two agreed that Sony needs to get the movie out to viewers.

But the audience shouldn't be in danger if their lives are being threatened, Kelly adds, "I don't think people need to think about that during the Christmas season while taking their kid to go see Annie."

When Kelly made the point that the country needs to take a stand, Kimmel jumped in, with, "Do you think Fox News will take a stand and air The Interview in its entirety - on its channel? Yes!?" which led to a loud applause from the audience.
