The 49-year-old actor, who has been a part of the series since the beginning, was told that the network was not picking up any additional scripts and that the episode that is airing on Monday night will serve as the show's series finale.

The series was part of a unique deal with FX where an initial ten episodes were ordered, but if they met a certain rating threshold then there were be 90 more episodes ordered. The show drew 5.5 million viewers for its pilot episode and FX then added more scripts to the series.

As for Charlie, he can be seen on the final episode of Anger Management, which will air tonight on FX, as well as starring in an episode of the ABC series The Goldbergs, according to Us Weekly.
