Katie Holmes Sexy 'Elle Canada' PHOTOS: Tom Cruise's Ex 'Moves Past' Joey Potter In 'Dawson's Creek!'

Now that  all her Dawson's Creek fans are all grown up, it's time for Joey Potter to do some soul-searching herself. The former Mrs. Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, sheds that tomboy image and shows off her sexy side in a gorgeous photoshoot for Elle Canada. 

Reflecting on her Dawson's Creek days, Holmes reveals to Elle Canada, "I don't know if I have moved past it, but I don't really care. I had a ball doing it, and it's really nice to be a part of something that did affect people. And it created a lot of opportunities for all of us. You can't really ask for much more than that."

Moving past her Dawson days she most certainly has. We previously caught the 35-year-old  brunette beauty going off on a rebel streak. While Fashion Week was kicking into high gear in the Big Apple, the Batman Begins starlet showed up during the party of Old Navy and Yahoo! Style editor's Joe Zee. As part of the Spring 2015 runway shows, attendees, including the Elle cover girl, were given temporary neck tattoos.

On the Ellen Degeneres Show, The Giver actress had to figure out how to play Santa for her daughter, Suri, "She's practical, she's just very specific," The Giver actress said. "Like, 'I want a puppy, and then I want a pink collar that has sparkles on it that says the puppy's name. Then I want shoes for the dog...Then I want a purple clip.' Like, it's all very detailed." 

We're looking forward to the former teen starlet adding director to her growing resume. Holmes will be making her directorial debut in All We Had, an adaption of Annie Weatherwax's novel. the story revolves around a poverty-stricken mother and daughter who find a home in an unlikely quirky small town.
