Chris Paul and Blake Griffin's Los Angeles Clippers will take on Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors in a huge Christmas Day showdown between Western Conference titans on Thursday, December 25 at 10:30 p.m. EST at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. After the first third of the 2014-15 NBA regular season, the Clippers are sitting sixth in the Western Conference, and are at the No. 8 spot in Marc Stein's official NBA power ranking for ESPN with a 19-10 record:

"You tell us, Clipper Nation: Concerned in any way to hear that Blake Griffin is averaging a mere 17.6 PPG in L.A.'s losses compared to 25.5 PPG in its wins? Or that his two double-doubles last week took him to seven in 27 games this season after he had 43 in 80 games last season? Just asking."

Meanwhile, the visiting Warriors have the best record in the entire NBA, sitting pretty at 23-4 after Tuesday's loss to Nick Young and the Los Angeles Lakers. Led by Steph Curry and Klay Thompson the Oakland team - helmed by rookie coach Steve Kerr - sit atop Stein's Power Rankings (out of 30 total teams). According to Stein:

"Can they score as much as they need to when Steph Curry goes to the bench? Valid question. What we do know, though, is that one loss on the road to the full-strength Grizz isn't enough to drop the Dubs yet. Not when they've managed to beat Houston, Dallas and OKC without Andrew Bogut."
