It's finally here - NBA Christmas Day basketball - and you can watch it for free. John Wall and the Washington Wizards battle it out against Carmelo Anthony and his New York Knicks in Week 8 of the 2014 regular season on Thursday, December 25 at 12 p.m. EST at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Tuesday night basketball game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.

Following the first few weeks of the NBA regular season, the Wizards are an impressive 19-8 and are sitting third in the Eastern Conference, behind only the Toronto Raptors and Atlanta Hawks. NBA.com's John Schumann has them ranked 11th in his official NBA power rankings. He says: 

"John Wall leads the league in time of possession and has accounted for 42 percent of the assists on the team that ranks second in assist rate. When he has an off night, though, the Wizards are in trouble. There's been fewer of those off nights this season, but one popped up Sunday against Phoenix, ending Washington's six-game win streak." 

As for the Knicks, they're ranked 29th out of 30 in Schumann's power rankings, with their franchise-equalling worst start a season of only five wins and a whopping 25 losses. As Schumann says, all is as weird as usual with the Knicks:

"Most team presidents would stay quiet as their team was losing 15 of 16 games. But Phil Jackson is not most team presidents and took to Twitter to defend trading Tyson Chandler and to take shots at Charles Barkley. Jackson wasn't given much to work with when he was hired, but players he added or re-signed have played more than half of the team's minutes."
