Niall Horan, Demi Lovato Finally Going Out on a Date?

Nemi fans will be delighted that One Direction's singer Niall Horan and X-Factor judge Demi Lovato will finally meet face-to-face.

In the most highly anticipated meeting of 2012, the two are set to meet for the very first time at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Niall and Demi were involved in a public internet flirting last month. However, it was revealed that the two internet love birds have not actually met personally.

During a candid interview with Ryan Seacrest, the 18-year-old heartthrob let it slip that he and Demi "haven't actually met" but will for the first time at the upcoming awards.

"Hopefully I will get to see her next week when we come to LA for the VMAs. She's been doing well. She's been updating me on what she's been doing and stuff. We're just really good friends," Niall Horan said.

There is no confirmation yet that the two will be coming in the awards show as a couple.

Earlier this month, Niall Horan made the fans crazy after he and rumored girlfriend Demi Lovato exchanged sweet tweets to each other.

Everyone is curios if the two are really going out as Niall Horan called Demi Lovato "honey" when the former greeted the latter on her birthday.

The 18-year-old singer tweeted a special birthday message; "@ddlovato happy birthday honey! Have a lovely day. See ya soon."

"@NiallOfficial thank you sweet stuff! :)" Demi replied. This caused chaos in the social networking site and "Nemi" couple was soon trending.

The 1D singer initially denied that there is something going on between him and Demi and said that they are good pals.

Last week, One Direction's singer Niall Horan was caught cuddling with sexy Cover Drive singer Amanda Reifer.

The two also snap a picture together. Amanda was apparently thrilled to meet the 1D lad at her band's gig in Brighton on Monday. This may shocked many Nemi fans.

'When Amanda asked someone to take a picture of them both we couldn't tell who was more excited, him or her,' Amanda's bandmate T-Ray tells the Daily Mirror.

'I joked and said, "I'm sure he doesn't mind a picture with Amanda." He responded "I REALLY don't mind!"'
