Bellator president Scott Coker has confirmed that his MMA promotion contacted current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar about joining the promotion, and the expectation is Bellator and UFC will enter into a bidding war for the Beast Incarnate once his contract with WWE expires. Furthermore, WWE officials are reportedly not expecting Lesnar to return and are planning to move forward without him.

The widespread expectation is Roman Reigns will win the Royal Rumble, but rumors are now floating that Dean Ambrose could be the last man standing in the ring; however, take this with the caveat that there are several other candidates ahead of the Lunatic Fringe.

WWE is still reportedly hoping that Batista will return for at least a retirement match at some point. The Animal has said he wants to wrestle his final match against Triple H at WrestleMania.

This rumor is really out there, but there are whispers that WWE wants to have someone hold the WWE World Heavyweight Championship for a longer reign than CM Punk's 434 days from late 2011 to early 2013. Reigns is supposedly a candidate for this if he wins the belt at WrestleMania 31. This seems highly unlikely, but keep an eye on it.
