Katy Perry and John Mayer Breakup False Report, Romance Still Budding

Katy Perry and John Mayer both gave love another chance this summer but were falsely rumored to have broken up when Mayer debuted a new short cut late August. However, it has been reported recently that Perry and Mayer did not break up.  In fact, they are still together and were caught smooching and cuddling at the FYF music festival on September 1 in LA.

Sources told HollywoodLife.com, "Even after all the talk, they never broke up and were together all along."

The source continued, "Things have been going well and speaking of never breaking up, they consider what they have as strictly dating and in no way exclusive and they both have made the decision to have fun with each other and not make anything super serious."

"It's more of a physical relationship then a 'falling-in-love' relationship."

A concert goer saw recognized the two at the Los Angeles festival.  Mayer reportedly wore a cowboy hat and jeans while Perry sported a floral dress.  

Perry's ex-husband is also moving on and is rumored to be dating Spice Girls' Geri Halliwell.
