Looks like John Mayer had one interesting Holiday Season. Though perhaps the best word would be a "frustrating" holiday season ... mainly because it seems like the musician's iPhone is pretty busted. The former beau to Katy Perry and Taylor Swift recently posted a video to his Instagram account, one that shows the screen of his phone doing some pretty funky things. Though, of course, the Paradise Valley singer just claims the phone is "tripping balls."

At least, he says it's the phone that was tripping ...

The post came just a few days after Christmas – which Mayer before stated was going to be a "lonely" one prior to turning it into a "solo adventure" – and was captioned alongside "My iPhone tripping balls in the desert. Honest-to-goodness hardware glitch. Oh well and Oh yeahhhh."

Check out Mayer's glitch here:

So, readers, what do you think of Mayer's post? A number of his followers had some interesting things to say. Take a look at some of the posts below:

"I saw this early morning and tripped me out!"

"Lol. That's all I will say...other then the second and third to this response/opinion."

"That's f*cking trippy. Hendrix calling! Get some acid will be fine @johnmayer."

As mentioned, the guitarist's holiday had the potential of being a lonely one, but it turns out he decided to turn the loneliness to a newfound adventure, "going anywhere the wind" would take him, as he says. Check out the photo here.

So, readers, you tell us –– was John Mayer "tripping balls?"
