The San Antonio Spurs battle it out on the court against the Memphis Grizzlies in Week 9 of the 2014 regular season on Tuesday, December 30 at 8:00 p.m. EST at the FedExForum in Tennessee. Following the first few weeks of the NBA regular season, the Spurs snag the No. 9 spot in Marc Stein's official NBA power ranking for ESPN.com with a 19-13 winning record:

"The Spurs' lives aren't supposed to get complicated until the Rodeo Trip every February. Instead they're 7-9 in December with two games to go in a month containing no fewer than seven back-to-backs. The champs are 12-4 when Timmy, Tony, Manu and Kawhi all play; 7-9 when at least one is missing."

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies currently hold the impressive No. 7 spot (out of 30 total teams) with 22 wins and only eight losses. According to Stein:

"The Grizzlies' recent four-game skid, in the wake of their stunning triple-overtime W over the Spurs, isn't causing any real concern on Beale Street. The state of Zach Randolph's right knee, which has caused him to miss Memphis' past four games despite a "clean" MRI, is the more significant worry."

The game will be broadcasted live on local channels FSSW and SPSO, but fans can also listen in on the radio at KNPT, ESPN 103.3, KTBB, 1050AM, WNSR, and ESPN 92.9.
