"Directioners" celebrate because there is only one "One Direction" band all over the world. The boys of the famed British boy band finally settle the name dispute between them and the other alleged "One Direction" band. This alone proves that there can and will only be one "One Direction."

Being popular with the girls, it isn't questionable as to why there would be pursuers of the boy band name "One Direction." Yet, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson wouldn't let pretentious individuals from winning over the name that has long been theirs.

Over the course of summer, the fight for the name right of "One Direction" had ensued between the UK One Direction and the US One Direction. Thankfully, Simon Cowell's creation had won the rights after reaching an agreement. So how did the name battle even start?

Earlier in summer, the US boy band had filed a lawsuit against the British boy band along with UK One Direction label. The claim had been that UK One Direction had a copyright infringement since the US version of One Direction had been the first to register the name of 1D.

Also, the claim had stated that the name of 1D for the US Version had been used since 2009 in comparison to the UK Version having only used and registered the name in 2010. Apart from a copyright infringement, the US 1D requested a cut of all UK 1D's profits given they had allegedly used their name.

Yet, being British and bad-ass, the boys of 1D countersued. Now, with summer officially over, a settlement has been reached and both sides are happy. According to Ace Showbiz, the US Version of One Direction has changed its name to Uncharted Shores making the UK version the one and only One Direction.

"Directioners" are rejoicing over the news. One Direction is definitely moving on and making another great move with their music career. The boys' new album, "Take Me Home" is set to officially land in stalls by November which is just two months wait for dedicated "Directioners."

As for Uncharted Shores, the best of luck getting past One Direction's success plus the other entire boy bands already in the business.
