Audiences grew up watching Dawson's Creek and now those fans are all grown up, including it's main star, the tomboy Joey Potter. Never sticking around "anything for too long," the former Mrs. Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, sheds that tomboy image and shows off her sexy side on the gorgeous cover for Red Magazine.

On the cover of Red, we see the brunette beauty steaming up the page with her stunning gaze. Her hair has been combed straight back and her eyes painted in dark shadow. The Gift actress discusses with the mag about social media, the roles of women in society, and quite possibly hints at her previous six-year marriage.

During the magazine's interview, the Thank You For Smoking actress had a hard time answering the personal question, "What would you tell your 20-year-old self?"

The brunette starlet hesitates before answering, "I'm not so different than I was at 20. I still buy too many jeans..."

The Disturbing Behavior actress adds, "I don't stay stuck on anything too long. I mean, like, any emotion.'"

Check out the Red's slideshow gallery of the Batman Begins actress in her prominent roles:

We previously caught the 35-year-old brunette beauty going off on a rebel streak. While Fashion Week was kicking into high gear in the Big Apple, the Batman Begins starlet showed up during the party of Old Navy and Yahoo! Style editor's Joe Zee. As part of the Spring 2015 runway shows, attendees, including the Elle cover girl, were given temporary neck tattoos

As we previously mentioned, Holmes told Elle Canada how she still thinks about Joey, "I don't know if I have moved past it, but I don't really care. I had a ball doing it, and it's really nice to be a part of something that did affect people. And it created a lot of opportunities for all of us. You can't really ask for much more than that."

We're looking forward to the former teen starlet adding director to her growing resume. Holmes will be making her directorial debut in All We Had, an adaption of Annie Weatherwax's novel. the story revolves around a poverty-stricken mother and daughter who find a home in an unlikely quirky small town.

Red Magazine, with Katie Holmes on the cover, arrives January 2, 2015. Readers, what do you think of the cover?
