Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey may be separating and going through a divorce but does that mean that the America's Got Talent host and singer will be recording songs about his heartbreak on future musical projects? The couple's relationship took a turn for the worse at the beginning of this year when Mariah and Nick decided to separate, however, while the couple is yet to official announce a divorce, it seems like Nick Cannon is speaking out about rumors that he will pen heartbreak tracks about his wife.

According to Radar Online, the couple, while still separated, has not made the breakup official as they have yet file paperwork. It seems that the hold up is coming from the pair dividing their different assets, as well as coming to a decision about the custody of their two children, Moroccan and Monroe.

However, it seems that Cannon doesn't have a bad word to say about Mariah. When he was asked if he would ever write a song dissing or negatively commenting on the time he spent with the singer, he explained on his Twitter account that he could never do that to his family.

"There is no album or songs," the star wrote on the social media site. "I will never say anything negative about @MariahCarey. We are forever a family rooted in love."

"I am always an open book, but personal matters are just that, personal," the star continued. "So please respect my family and respect the process."
