An R.I.P. Morgan Freeman Facebook was created on September 5, 2012 claiming that the actor is dead, following the following the same pattern as Bill Cosby's decent death hoax that stirred anger and disappointment in people.  The creator of Cosby's page through it was a funny prank while others thought it was thoughtless and mean.

Morgan Freeman had been victimized before and now will need to defend his dear life again for the sake of gullible people on the web.  Thousands and thousands of "likes" have begun to pile up and Mstarz hopes to help put an end to that nasty rumor.

One Facebook user responded, "Celebrities are still normal people with family members and friends just like us.  How would you feel if someone said your most precious loved one has passed away?  You can't joke about someone's death."

Many social media users realized that it is just a hoax after seeing so many death hoaxes come by in the recent days about Bill Cosby, Bill Nye, Rihanna, Eddie Murphy, Taylor Swift, Adele, and more.

The best way to prevent the death rumors from spreading is to not tweet or write about it on your social media site until you've verified the facts.  Othewise, it's only going to spread like wild fire - which is exactly the perpetrator's goal.
