Kanye West Releases New Song Dedicated to His Late Mother With Paul McCartney & Daughter, North West; He Claims "My Mom Was Singing Through Me To My Daughter" [LISTEN]

Kanye West did something special for New Years Eve -- he released a new song called "Only One" that was about his precious daughter, North West and his late mother, Donda.

According to the Gossip Cop, Kanye wrote the song from the point of view of his mother, who passed away in November, 2007 after suffering complications following her cosmetic surgery involving abdominoplasty and breast reduction.

The lyrics goes like this, "I talked to God about you/He said he sent you an angel/And look at all that he gave you." West adds, "When you cry, I will cry/And when you smile, I will smile." West ends the beautiful song with, "Only One" by repeatedly singing, "Tell Nori about me, tell Nori about me."

According to People, the rapper says the song was created after he sat his daughter on his lap and started singing: "Hello, my only one ... "

Kanye stated, "My mom was singing to me, and through me to my daughter," He explained how the song's title orginated, saying that his birth name, Kanye, means "Only one."

In the new track, Kanye features the piano background of Paul McCartney. The were rumors swirling around that the two men were working on a song together after Kanye went to a concert where McCartney was performing.

Kanye's wife, Kim Kardashian also revealed how the song has touched her. In the snapshot below, she uploads a photo of her daughter sitting with her father as Kim writes:
