One Direction VMAS 2012: Wins Three Awards, Best New Artist, Best Pop Video, Best Share-Worth Video

One Direction's five boys were beaming at the MTV Video Awards Show tonight as they performed for their wild fans and took home all three coveted awards for Best New Artist, Best Pop Video and Best Share-Worthy Video at the MTV VMAs 2012.   The winners Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and LOuis Tomlinson all worked hard to achieve this great accomplishment.

It was the first Video Music Awards show the band has been nominated for and won in since their debut last year.  Their hit song "What Makes You Beautiful" captured the hearts of millions of teenage girls and led them to their great success now.  They even got kisses from Katy Perry onstage.

Simon Cowell must be smirking with joy and pride at this very moment.
