Amy Poehler Will Arnett Divorce: Comedic Couple Call it Quits After 9 Years

Not another celebrity divorce, especially with a couple that the public actually likes! Us Weekly reports that "Parks and Recreation" funny woman Amy Poeler and her husband, Arrested Development" star Will Arnett, have decided to end their 9-year marriage. Sad news coming from one of Hollywood's seemingly most happy and strong relationships.

The comedic duo married on August 29, 2003 and have two sons together - Archie (3) and Abel (2). While starring in two separate hit television sitcoms, they have also teamed up for many film appearances including "Blades of Glory," "Horton Hears a Who!," and "Spring Breakdown."

An inside source speaking on behalf of both stars told Us Weekly that the couple's decision to separate was "very amicable."

News of the divorce comes as a surprise to many fans, considering the couple appeared to be very stable and happy. Arnett told People magazine back in 2009, "The first time I saw her onstage, I said, 'I'm gonna marry that girl." Poehler also stated in 2005, "He makes me feel very safe. You can have a lot of adventures if you have someone by your side."
