She might be the star of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but Teresa Giudice isn't getting the celebrity treatment today, Jan. 5, as she heads off to start her 15-month prison sentence. The RHONJ actress and her husband Joe Giudice pled guilty to financial fraud in March 2014 and both are set to do time. Teresa is the first one to go and a former star is opening up on what it will be like for Giudice when she heads behind bars.

Jody "Babydol" Gibson, who served almost two years in federal prison and was involved in a case similar to that of Teresa's, spoke out to Radar Online to describe what the New Jersey star is likely to experience during her time in jail, especially the reactions from other inmates.

"When you come into [prison] in a high-profile situation, it makes you a target," Gibson explained. "Teresa is a television star whose federal case involved Hollywood and money and because of that, she will be targeted from the moment she enters the doors."

"She will have to learn how to spend a lot of her time alone," Jody continued. "The other inmates all will know that she is famous and the way that it works in prison is that if you take out someone who is famous, then you will become famous, too."

Jody also gives Teresa some advice on what to do and how to act while she is behind bars.

"Even though Teresa is a strong woman, she must learn to get through her sentence by not accepting favors, not making any friends and not making any promises to anyone," Gibson revealed.

E! News is also reporting on Giudice's arrival to the Danbury, Connecticut, facility where she will be spending her time. Her lawyer James J. Leonard Jr. drove the mother of four to the jail where they arrived at 3 a.m., more than seven hours before her scheduled time.

"She was ready," Leonard explained. "I think she was anxious to get in, get this thing started, get it behind her and get back to her family. Her four girls are her primary focus."
