New iPhone 5 Release Date: Verizon, Sprint, AT&T September 21st

The new iPhone 5 release date is drawing closer as the phone will be unveiled on September 12th, 2012.  Phone carriers Verizon, Sprint, AT&T are pretty much ready to get rid of their older iPhone 4S stock to fill up on iPhone 5 models.

Though the official announcing event will take place on Sept. 12, the actual iPhone will be available for purchase on September 21, according to the most recent rumors.  

TechCrunch reported last month that a "trusted Verizon employee" revealed that the vacation blackout dates on the employees' calendar runs from the 21st until the 30th of this month.  It's very likely that they are preparing the sale of the iPhone 5.

The iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S have been each other's greatest competitors, with Samsung taking lead last month.  It looks like the iPhone 5 may turn that over.
