Love And Hip Hop New York Amina Buddafly Defends Iggy Azalea Racial Backlash

"Love and Hip Hop: New York" reality star Amina Buddafly touched on rapper Iggy Azalea's beef with Azealia Banks in a recent interview with VladTv.com.

The German native sad that she could related with race issues that the Australian rapper is going through saying, "It shouldn't be no beef in that in my opinion. I'm kind of like- I'm very racial so I always in life had this kind of problem like I never knew where to belong." She added, "I black but I'm equally as white."

"If Iggy got to take it, I feel for her. I heard some people on Twitter joined in and it's become this big think, but you know you definitely have to respect the history of it," she said referring to rapper Q-Tip's recent Hip Hop history rant.

Singer K. Michelle even criticized Iggy's authenticity after altering her Australian rapping sound for a southern sound, "If Iggy were to rap in that accent, I don't think she would be Iggy, I don't think she would be where she is right now." She continued, "I don't think she [Azealia Banks] should attack Iggy for it, I think ... the way she raps it's still her even though it might not be her accent, It's still her. I don't know."

Recently, rap star Q-Tip defended Azealia Banks via twitter to address the young artist passionate interview, "Never forget that Hip Hop is the Civil Rights Movement's love child," she added, "Coming off the heels of the CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT and approaching the end of the Vietnam war it was a crossroads 4 America."
