'Kate Plus 8' New Season Returns Tuesday, Jan. 13, On TLC: This Time, The Mother Of 8 Has Teenagers [VIDEO]

Kate Plus 8 is back, and this time Kate Gosselin has teenagers. The mother of twins Cara and Madelyn and sextuplets — three boys Aaden, Collin and Joel and three girls Leah, Alexis and Hannah — has a lot on her hands trying to take care of all eight of her children.

In the clip below, Kate describes the chaos she has with her kids as the family tries to take vacations.

"We were heading to Maine to do our beach vacation." Kate says as the clip rolls on the kids arguing on which room each one will get. "They just have minds of their own, I just am like, 'I surrender.'"

Kate continues, "They were so adorable as little miniature Pilgrim children ..." as the clips roll on the family vacation. "I didn't care whose bed it was, I just laid down in it," as the mother appeared to look like she needed a break from her eight kids.

As the family vacation continues, things get wild on the water as the kids fall in love with lobsters.

"I don't if I really told the little kids is that we were catching lobsters to cook and eat for dinner," Kate recalls as the girls have an attack while boiling the seafood.

"We can't keep them as pets," the mom explains.

The kids also get down and dirty with games, and rowing on the lake. "I had a clear picture of a bulls-eye and throwing pumpkins at it, I thought, 'That would be so cool to splat pumpkins,"' as things get nasty.

Drama unfolds as Kate has to make a decision to move the little girls so that her older girls can have their own rooms.

"I decided to let them paint the rooms that they were leaving, just for fun," she says.
