There is about to be a Diva off on the streets of Las Vegas as Mariah Carey is about to roll into town and give Britney Spears a run for her money. The "All I Want For Christmas" singer is in the early stages of negotiation to following in the footsteps of some of the greats before her like Cher, Celine Dion, Bette Midler an, most recently, Miss Spears, as she might just score a residency deal in Sin City that brings in a big check.

According to Page Six, the star has been in negotiations to ink a deal with Caesars Palace for a two-year contract that is supposed to be worth more than Britney's $30 million deal for her "Piece of Me" show at Planet Hollywood.

The singer has been making headlines again this past year as she just went out on tour in Asia for "The Elusive Chanteuse Show," which was met with some pretty mixed reviews. The star has also been publicly going through a divorce from her husband Nick Cannon, which has caused some stress in her life.

According to The Hollywood Life, the show could premiere around the 2015 holiday season, maybe to collide with her hit Christmas single once again dominating the radio stations.

The site is also reporting that the show is coming just a month after Mariah butchered her performance during the Rockefeller Tree Lighting Ceremony. If you haven't seen it yet, we will post it below.

Who are some other divas that should head to Vegas to set up a residency?
