A romantic reconciliation between Nicki Minaj and Safaree "Scaff Breezy" Samuels initially seemed impossible. The longtime couple ended their relationship on very hostile terms. Meanwhile, the "Anaconda" twerker continues sharing her heartbreak on Instagram amid the fame and success of her new album:

Apparently, Minaj even indulged in a short-lived "fling" with "Buy a Heart" collaborator, Meek Mill. But both rappers insist that they're just good friends, and Mill's still having too much fun playing the "single" field.

Anyway, are Minaj and Samuels now "working" on their relationship, despite all of the drama?

An alleged source for UrbanIslandz.com reveals:

"They are speaking to each other but they have not rekindled their relationship and I cannot comment on whether they will. At one point there were no communication but its a good sign that there are on speaking terms now."

Interesting... will the feuding pair eventually get back together? They were involved for over a decade, so obviously some feelings must still linger.
