Following yesterday's horrific news in Paris, France – where 12 people were murdered because a satirical newspaper made a number of jokes that offended a particular group – many in the comedy world could not help but feel somewhat uneasy. Not just because of the terrible loss of life for those overseas but also because it somewhat hits home for them. With that, CONAN and former Tonight Show host following Jay Leno (the first time) Conan O'Brien, took a quick minute during last night's episode with Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 and Pitch Perfect 2 star Elizabeth Banks and actor Vinnie Jones to discuss what's now being coined as the "Charlie Hebdo Tragedy."

"In this country we just take it for granted that it's our right to poke fun at the untouchable or the sacred," O'Brien led off. He continued, "...but today's tragedy in Paris reminds us, very viscerally, that it's a right some people are inexplicably forced to die for."

The host then mentioned that everyone who works over at CONAN are "terribly sad" for the victims families, the people of France and everyone now and in the future who has to "think twice before making a joke."

"It's not the way it's supposed to be..." the host ended.
