The Houston Rockets battle it out on the court against the New York Knicks in Week 10 of the 2014-2015 NBA regular season on Thursday, January 8 at 8:00 p.m. EST at NYC's legendary Madison Square Garden. Following the first few weeks of the NBA regular season, the Rockets snag the No. 9 spot in Marc Stein's official NBA power ranking for ESPN.com with a 24-11 winning record:

"Houston promised a starting spot to Josh Smith to fend off various rival contenders vying for his signature, lost two of its first three games with Smith in the first five, then decided in 2015 that he fits better off the bench. Had to gamble on J-Smoove at that price, but the addition has been less than seamless."

Meanwhile, the Knicks hold the meager No. 30 spot with only 5 wins and 22 whopping losses. New York's currently in last place. According to Stein:

"After a 1-15 December and a 1-21 skid overall, only one thing can salvage 2014-15 for the Knicks: landing the No. 1 pick in the 30th anniversary draft since lucking into Patrick Ewing. In the meantime, with the Knicks not even cracking 90 points these days, who could dare argue with sitting Melo?"

The game will be broadcasted live on local channel TNT, but fans can also listen in on the radio at ESPN 92.9, KOGT, 106.7 The Fan, and 104. 5 The Team.
