NBC announced on Monday that the hit show "Saturday Night Live" has added three comedian newbies to its already stellar cast lineup for the upcoming 2012-1013 season. Introducing "SNL's" three new funny people (making their way up from the improvisational enterprise "Second City"), Cecily Strong, Aidy Bryant, and Tim Robinson.
Strong, Bryant, and Robinson have some hilarious shoes to fill considering that "SNL" stars Kristen Wiig, Andy Samberg, and Abby Elliott left the show earlier last season. The three Chicago-based comedians will join the "SNL" cast in its 38th season, which premieres this coming Saturday evening.
The Sept. 15 premiere will feature "Family Guy" host Seth MacFarlene and a musical appearance by R&B crooner Frank Ocean.
