'Looking' Season 2 Spoilers: Are Jonathan Groff, Murray Bartlett, Frankie J. Alvarez Ready For "Intervention?" [WATCH]

Just ahead of its premiere, HBO has released an official must-see clip from Season 2 from their critically acclaimed series, Looking. During the second season premiere, are Patrick (Jonathan Groff), Agustín (Frankie J. Alvarez), and Dom (Murray Bartlett) ready to deal with an "intervention?"

As we previously mentioned, the series created by Michael Lannan revolves around the lives of three friends in San Francisco. In their own way, each one explores in their own way how the single life treats a new generation of gay men. The trio struggles to find some kind of meaning behind romance, heartaches, and hidden secrets.

When we first met them the first season, Patrick (Groff), the 29-year old video game designer, was getting back into the dating world after his ex's engagement. At the age of 31, Agustín (Alvarez) agreed to move in with his long-term boyfriend, but he was a little bit unsure about monogamy and losing the energy of city life. The oldest at 39, Dom (Bartlett) became daunted by the success of an old flame, while seeing his professional goals and romantic life left unfulfilled.

In the footage, we see the three buds bantering and having fun while having drinks. Agustín thinks the two brought him to the woods for an intervention. Dom jokingly would like to see his friend messed-up, because it makes him less narcissistic, while Patrick would like to see him cutting down on the liquor.

In the previously released trailer, Patrick was reading off a quote from Walt Whitman, "Happiness not in another place, but this place, not for another hour, but this hour."

2014 was the year HBO made us cry with the series finales of True Blood, Boardwalk Empire and The Newsroom. While we're definitely going to miss them, each in their own way, we can't wait for the new season of Looking to start.
