The "Teen Mom" final season reunion special with Dr. Drew aired on MTV Tuesday evening, with emotionally distraught Maci Bookout taking the stage with then-ex Kyle King, baby daddy Ryan Edwards, and his current boo Dalis Connell. Things have drastically changed between the quartet since the filming of the reunion - Bookout and King are now back together, Edwards thinks they make a great pair to take care of son Bentley, and Bookout and Connell are finally on "good" terms with one another.
On the Sept. 11 episode with Dr. Drew, Bookout and King were officially broken-up. King admitted to talking to three other women on the popular social networking site Facebook, which led to speculations that he may have cheated on 21-year-old Bookout during their two year relationship. But as of today, looks like the couple is back together and as strong as ever. The reality star duo has confirmed their relationship through public tweets and cute Twitpics. During the airing of the "Teen Mom" reunion special King answered fan-questions via Twitter, and admitted that "if I [ever] married someone it'd be her..."
Some baby momma drama occurred on the episode between Bookout and Edwards (who parent 3-year-old Bentley) as well as Edwards' girlfriend Connell. Edwards accused Bookout of constantly causing drama in his new relationship, while the "Teen Mom" insisted Edwards was the one who wouldn't leave her alone (through text). Poor Connell remained mostly quite during the ordeal. Despite all the awkwardness, Bookout did admit that she thought Connell was "the next best thing" for Bentley. And according to recent reports, the two young women are currently getting along pretty well - Bookout believes that if there are times she can't be there for Bentley, she trusts that Connell would make a good replacement.
During the MTV airing of the "Teen Mom" reunion special (part 2), Edwards tweeted:
@ryancedwards: "I actually am thankful Bentley has a good mom and boyfriend and i have a supportive girlfriend!! Happy as ever!! Everyone gets along now and Bentley is so happy!!"
Good to hear that Bentley seems to have such a stable and strong and support system. Although "Teen Mom" is officially over, rumors have it that Bookout may be in talks to have her own reality show... stay tuned!
