Kate Middleton Pregnant: Duchess Toasts with Water Over Wine, Sparks Baby Rumors

Pregnancy rumors surrounding the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton have swirled since she wed Prince William back in April 2011. But it looks like the royal baby talk has regained some fuel, with reports that Middleton opted for water over wine not during one, but TWO recent public appearances.

The royal couple attended a state banquet in Singapore on Tuesday, Sept. 11. Columnist Tom Sykes of the Daily Beast was first to point out the odd fact that 30-year-old Middleton rose twice to make toasts to Queen Elizabeth, and both times drank from a glass of water instead of wine. Sykes goes on to explain that it's "highly unusual" for royals to "toast with anything but a full glass of wine." It is also unusual for pregnant women to drink alcohol...

And it turns out that last Thursday Middleton was again seen drinking from a wine glass that appeared to be merely filled with water at the British Gala Reception at Eden Hall. Middleton has been spotted sipping on wine and champagne at such events in the past, so it's not like the Duchess is a strict non-drinker. So some fans and reporters can only lead themselves to one conclusion...

Some reports (first picked up by the New York Daily News) also insinuate that Middleton appeared to be sporting a "hint of a baby bump" at the banquet on Tuesday. Kelly Ripa even brought up the story on her hit morning show "Live! With Kelly and Michael."

So what do readers think? Excited for the prospect of a new royal family member youngin? Sure if the pregnancy rumors are true, a palace announcement would most likely be made in the near future.
