iPhone 5 Price in USA Unlocked: Pre-order Time Starts Sept. 14, 2012, Buy Online

The iPhone 5 price in the USA for unlocked versions of the phone will be ready for pre-order at the same time as the locked models, on Sept. 14, 2012.  Sprint reportedly announced that sales will begin at 12:01 p.m. PST, and Verizon and AT&T may follow suit.

The unlocked version for the 16GB model will start at $849 USD and the 32GB at $949.  The 64GB price has not been released yet.  These iPhone 5 unlocked versions will be available on the Apple online store starting Friday, Sept 14th.

The price for the phone when purchased with a two-year contract is the same as iPhone 4S when it first came out.

Phones will be sold in stores starting on September 21st, 2012.
