"Jersey Shore" reality star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi gives birth to a son while self-described "party in a glass" Deena Cortese gets arrested for public intoxication - which results in her being banned from a Seaside Heights, NJ bar for an entire two years. What a way end MTV's long-running "Jersey Shore" phenomenon, which will debut its final sixth season this coming fall (to the relief of many).
The Spicy Cantina & Mexican Grille restaurant in Seaside Heights, NJ was smacked with a $15,000 fine for supposedly over-serving the "Jersey Shore" party girl back in June. Sipping on one-too-many cocktails at the Jersey Shore hotspot led to Cortese' drunken arrest - cops claimed the reality diva "failed to use the sidewalk," and instead distracted bystanders with a ridiculous middle-of-the-road dance. Cortese eventually pled guilty to the public intoxication claims and paid a total of $139 in fines, stating she was sorry for "causing any trouble" before finally being released.
According to reports, an MTV film crew spent 90 minutes inside the restaurant with the inebriated Cortese, while onlookers shockingly witnessed her walking on the bar, falling down smack-dab on her bottom, and even standing on someone's table as the customer attempted to finish up a meal.
As "revenge," the restaurant/bar has now banned Cortese from entering the premise for the next two years. Good thing the cast of "Jersey Shore" won't be returning to the infamous Seaside Heights boardwalk next summer (although Cortese is a native Jersey Girl, so I guess the ban still puts a damper on her hard-partying ways). Cortese has willingly obliged to the request (so far...).
Well good thing for on-the-go technology, because an onlooker videotaped Cortese's drunken public street crawl, in a sneak-peak clip of what fans can probably expect more of this upcoming season on "Jersey Shore."
