Martin Kristen Photo: Heidi Klum Cozies Up With Bodyguard, Denies Cheating on Seal [VIDEO]

Dating rumors surrounding "Project Runway" host Heidi Klum and her bodyguard Martin Kristen began to surface once the two were spotted getting cozy and snuggling up with one another during a recent vacation in Sardinia. While the German supermodel admitted to television personality Katie Couric that she indeed holds strong feelings towards Kristen, she denies referring to their current dating situation as an exclusive "relationship." Klum goes on to insist that she never cheated on now ex-husband Seal during their seven-year long marriage, although the R&B/soul crooner strongly claims otherwise.

"I don't even know if I can call it [a relationship], you know? It just started so I don't know. I don't know where it's gonna go," Klum told Couric about Kristen during a recent interview on Couric's new daytime television show. "I've known him for four years and he's been with our family for the last four years. He's cared for our entire family, mostly for our four children, helped us tremendously."

Klum refers to Kristen as a "great man" who she can "trust her children's' life" with.

The 39-year-old model announced she was divorcing longtime husband Seal back in January. Although Klum insists she never romantically strayed outside the marriage, Seal made some harsh statements to TMZ proving otherwise:

"That's what happens when two people separate, they move on and generally meet other people in their lives. I certainly don't expect Heidi to all of a sudden become a nun, but as always my main priority is the emotional well-being of my children, and to be quite honest if there is going to be someone else there in their lives, I would much rather it was a familiar face.

Whilst I didn't expect anything better from him (Kristen), I would have thought that Heidi would have shown a little more class and at least waited until we separated first before deciding to fornicate with the help, as it were."

Ouch. (Seal's rep later went on to clarify that the musician was not implying that Klum had cheated during their actual relationship, but merely that "he was pointing out that they are separated and the divorce is not final so they are legally still married.")

Klum tells Couric that during her relationship with Seal, she never even looked at another man. As of now, the duo isn't "the greatest of friends," but they are in an "okay place."
