Call Woody Allen what you will – we know Dylan Farrow has a few words for him considering that open letter she wrote a while back calling out those pedophilia abuse and child molestation claims – but you can never call the man lazy. The famed comedian, writer, director, producer and musician just inked a deal with Amazon Studios in what will be his first-ever television series. Following their Golden Globe win for the Jeffrey Tambor-led series Transparent, it's no wonder that the Prime Instant Video studio is looking for their next big project. And given the fact that Woody Allen is Woody Allen – Annie Hall, Manhattan, Blue Jasmine, Midnight in Paris ... enough said – it looks like they very well could be on their way to getting it!

According to reports from Deadline, the studio has ordered a full season from the noted New Yorker of what's currently being called the Untitled Woody Allen Project. The show will be a half-hour and ... that's pretty much it.

Seriously, the project doesn't even have a logline yet. Sorry, folks.

Per the publication, VP of Amazon Studios, Roy Price has said that Allen is a "visionary creator who has made some of the greatest films of all-time, and it's an honor to be working with him on his first television series."

The obvious fan continued onward saying, "From Annie Hall to Blue Jasmine, Woody has been at the creative forefront of American cinema and we couldn't be more excited to premiere his first TV series exclusively on Prime Instant Video next year."

As far as Allen's thoughts? He claimed, "I don't know how I got into this. I have no ideas and I'm not sure where to begin. My guess is that Roy Price will regret this."

Spoken like a true neurotic genius!
