AMC has announced the premiere date for the last 7 episodes of their popular drama, Mad Men. As audiences countdown to the series finale in April, will Don Draper (Jon Hamm) discover a "super painful" end because of his drinking and philandering ways?

As we previously mentioned, in the first half of Mad Men's final season, the just-fired Don Draper (Hamm) trying to get his job back. As Don faced struggles with failing marriage with Megan (Jessica Paré) and opposition at work from Peggy (Elizabeth Moss) and Joan (Christina Hendricks), he wondered if the hard work was really what he actually wanted. It took the death of Bertram Cooper (Robert Morse) to shake things and wake up Roger Sterling (John Slattery) to save his ad agency.

TV Line spoke with the cast and crew as they attended Television Critics Association press tour, (where it was also announced that the CW network gave early renewal for the second season of The Flash). Hamm and Moss joined creator/showrunner Matthew Weiner, and their fellow co-star January Jones to discuss the end of the series. The site also confirms when the second half of the last season will begin in April.

The Town actor states, "There's no version of this ending that is not super painful for me."

Jones adds, "The last week, I was a mess. Anything made me cry. It's a beautiful story. It's perfect, in a way. I read it over and over again. Sometimes I still read it, like on a Thursday afternoon."

Moss couldn't be happier, "I was surprised in the best way and just really, really happy with it."

Weiner promises, ""The last seven episodes, each one of them feels like a finale."
