The only thing getting us through this awful winter is the fact that it means we get new episodes of Pretty Little Liars every week. So gather around the TV and let the secrets of Aria, Emily, Hanna, and Spencer keep you warm. This episode takes us to college, jail, and beyond, as we catch up with all of our favorite Rosewood gals.

We just have to say that Aria's storyline this episode is giving us some serious flashbacks of our own college experience. Not to toot our own horns, but while we got into all the schools we applied to, Aria is having somewhat of the reverse effect. The liar didn't end up getting into any of her choice schools, even being wait listed to her safety school, which she refers to as her "slam dunk school."

She feels that in order to even get into that school that she has to beg and plead. She ends up writing a pretty revealing letter to bump her into good standings. Her bestie Em doesn't think that the tell-all approach is the best option and even criticizes the letter in a dramatic reading. However, it doesn't seem that much can be done as Aria has already sent the letter over to the admissions office.

In the letter, Aria analysis the choices that she has made and what she has given up being with Ezra during her high school years. She submits the letter to the admissions officer who happens to be one of Ezra's exes. Luckily Aria's letter works and gets her in, but we know that this note is going to come back and bite her right in the butt.

Emily's journey this episode is a very comedic one if we do say so ourselves. The liar, trying to save her relationship with Paige, decides to take on the top chef position at Ezra's restaurant opening, even though she hasn't even been on that reality show or had any formal training for that matter. We have to give her credit because if someone asked us to cater a dinner party, stuffed grapes wouldn't be our first choice.

After working so hard on her mother's empanada recipe, Emily shows up to stuff them only to find that a much more experienced sous chef has replaced her. After throwing a fit, the two actually end up getting along and find a way to work together.

It seems that after all of that, Emily isn't going to be able to raise the money to visit Paige, but it doesn't seem like she'll need to since the relationship is coming to an end anyway.

A huge part of the episode comes when Toby is asked to search Mona's backyard for the former liar's body. When he comes up empty handed and only finds a knife, which looks like the murder weapon, he freaks out. It isn't until presenting the news to Spencer and Caleb that we find out why he is so upset.

It seems that this knife was from the Toby's cabin and he thinks that it might have his, Caleb, or Hanna's fingerprints on it, as they stayed at the cabin for the last few weeks. Caleb and Spencer both think that the knife was planted by 'A' and after promising Toby that they won't touch it, they go searching for it.

Taking their flashlights out, Caleb and Spencer look for the bloody weapon at night, the perfect time for finding something buried under a pile of leaves, right? After scooping it up they decide to destroy it and what better way then in a high school ceramics kiln. Long story short, Caleb gets locked in the firetrap and Spencer comes to save him in the nick of time. But did the weapon get destroyed? Or did 'A' happen to steal it?

Hanna, on the other hand, uses this episode to take a tour of a college and a trailer park, just in case the whole school thing doesn't work out. She comes to search for Detective Holbrook, but instead runs into his father. He mistakes her for Alison, which to be honest, is something that we used to do at the beginning of the series, but haven't done in years. He must not be as experienced as a PLL fan as us.

In probably, the most cringe worth part of episode is when Hanna returns to her car at the trailer park. She finds her teddy bear has just gotten a little surgery done, as he is all stitched up. When she pulls on the stitches, a pile of meat falls to the ground making us want literally want to vomit.

As for the last liar, Alison, well she spends the whole episode behind bars. However, right at the end she gets a brand-new jumpsuit delivery with a note in the pocket that reads, "You will see your friends soon."

Will Emily, Spencer, Aria, and Hanna be heading to the big house soon?
