Oh, the entertaining things the Google auto search can reveal in order to pass the time! Just check out this fun new trick, dubbed the "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon." Simply type "Bacon Number (Celebrity's Name)" into the Google search engine (any star you choose! Miley Cyus? Liam Hemsworth? Plug em' in and check it out!), and the results will show you just how many "degrees of separation" that chosen celeb is "connected" to Bacon. An almost ridiculous concept, but totally addicting nonetheless.
'Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon' is a fun and humorous spinoff game of 'Six Degrees of Separation' - meaning that everyone in the world is no more than six acquaintance links from anyone else on Earth (or in this case, famous actor Kevin Bacon). It's been a running joke in Hollywood for awhile, the fact that Bacon has seemingly worked and been connected with almost EVERYONE.
Here is some fun "Bacon Numbers" Mstarz conjured up:
Miley Cyrus's Bacon number is 2: Cyrus and Lucas Till appeared in "Hannah Montana: The Movie," Till and Bacon appeared in "X-Men: First Class."
Justin Bieber's Bacon number is 4: Bieber and Riker Lynch appeared in "School Gyrls," Lynch and Gwyneth Platrow appeared in "Glee: The 3D Concert Movie," Platrow and John Lithgow appeared in "Classical Baby: I'm Grown up Now: The Poetry Show," Lithgow and Bacon appeared in "Footloose."
Adam Sandler's Bacon number is 2: Sandler and Jennifer Aniston appeared in "Just Go with It," Anniston and Bacon appeared in "Picture Perfect."
Emma Watson's Bacon number is 2: Watson and Logan Lerman appeared "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," Lerman and Bacon appeared in "My One and Only."
Pretty obsessively entertaining, huh? Seems to be that many celebrities remain at a steady 2 degrees of separation from Bacon...
"Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" isn't completely 100% accurate - a rep for Google explains that the results are based on the Google Knowledge Graph, which captures "most" celebrities and public figures. The game's for fun and amusement, no need for some fans to get extremely technical. Go try it out on Google, all you Bacon-lovers!
