'Will & Grace' Reunion: Debra Messing & Eric McCormack On 'Mysteries Of Laura, Star Expresses Excitement On Twitter

Is there about to be a Will & Grace reunion? Well it definitely seems like it, just maybe not in the way that people were hoping for. While stars Debra Messing and Sean Hayes, who played Jack, on the long-running series, have reunited in the past on short lived NBC musical series Smash, it is now time for Will to come back together with his bestie Grace. Eric McCormack, who played Will during the eight season run of the NBC series is about to reunite with his former roomie Messing.

According to E! News, the reunion will be taking place on Messing's new NBC series The Mysteries of Laura. The series, which is currently in its freshman year, follows the messy life of Laura Diamond, a homicide detective, juggling an insane career while trying to parent her twin boys and deal with her ex-husband.

In an upcoming episode, McCormick will star as an ex-fiance of Debra's character, who goes by the name of Dr. Andrew Devlin.

His character is described as a "roguish, arrogant as can be heart surgeon," and he crosses paths with Laura, played by Messing, when his wife is found dead and he becomes the lead suspect in Messing's case.

Messing took to her Twitter account to confirm the good news that fans have been buzzing about, writing, "YES ITS TRUE!!!!! 'Will & Grace' are BACK TOGETHER!! YEEHAWWWWW!"

While it isn't exactly the reunion that we know some of your were hoping for, it is still pretty great news. We can't wait to see these two together on our TV screens again.
