Prince Harry was NOT killed at Camp Bastion, however there are two U.S. Marines that are dead from the attack at the Afghan base in Helmand where U.K. and U.S. aircraft were located.  The British base is home to troops from several con tries.

Prince Harry, also known as Captain Wales in the British Army, has already received death threats from the Taliban on Monday September 10, 2012 according to ABCNews.  The third in line to the throne had just started his duty to serve as a chopper pilot in Afhanistan.

ABCnews reported that a Taliban spokesman by the name of Zabihullah Mujahid informed Reuters that "We are using all our strength to get rid of him, either by killing or kidnapping.  "We have informed our commanders in Helmand to do whatever they can to eliminate him."

The same man also told Agence France Presse (AFP), "It is not important for us to kidnap him," he said. "We will target him and we will kill him."

The Ministry of Defense said that the threat to the Prince is considered "low."

On Saturday September 15, 2012, the Taliban attacked Camp Bastion where Prince Harry was present.  However, a Taliban spokesman told the BBC that the attack was revenge for a U.S. film titled "Innocence of Muslims" that made fun of Islam.  The film has sparked violence throughout the Middle East.

UK personnel were not harmed, however the two U.S. personnel were killed along with 18 Taliban.  1 Taliban was captured.

While the main cause of the violence is due to the now infamous D-list film trailer that was uploaded onto Youtube, Prince Harry is also a target, according to the Taliban.

Prior to Prince Harry's service in the army, he took a trip to Las Vegas for leasure and ended up making headlines with naked party photos.  We wish for safety for all troops in the Middle East.
