Kate Middleton Pregnant: Prince William's Ideal Family Includes Two Little Royals

Kate Middleton pregnancy rumors have gained fuel the past few weeks, considering the Duchess of Cambridge has given off some vague "signs" that she is indeed expecting (while some tabloids insist Middleton's apparent "weight gain" insinuates that she is with child, others have ousted the 30-year-old for toasting with water over wine at some significant royal events). While Prince William has openly discussed his feelings in regards to starting his own "royal family" with Middleton in the past, looks like the Duke of Cambridge now has the perfect number of royal little ones in mind - two.

During a recent formal royal event in Singapore, Middleton was spotted toasting twice to Queen Elizabeth with just a glass of water - which is odd, because it's very rare for royals to "toast with anything but a full glass of wine" (according to British columnist Tom Sykes).

While the royal couple was in Singapore they took a casual walk around the grounds of the "Gardens by the Bay" attraction, where Prince William was overheard discussing children. 17-year-old Corine Ackermann of the Tanglin Trust British School who overheard the conversation said: "Someone asked him how many children he would like to have, and he said he was thinking about having two."

The Duke has been confronted with this question numerous times in the past, so his casual response may have just been a mere observation of what he finds the "perfect" family to be. He does only have one younger brother, Prince Harry, so maybe his fortunate upbringing has led him to believe that two children is the ideal number? While William's "baby talk" doesn't lend any credence to the Middleton pregnancy rumors, it's something interesting to keep in mind considering all the rumors swirling around about a potential royal offspring. Prince William has been spotted spending time with youngsters in the past, and there's no denying that he would make a phenomenal father.
