Plane Crash Today in Colorado Under Investigation, Pilot Killed, Mitt Romney Cancels Planned Event

A plane crashed in Pueblo, Colorado today, September 16, 2912.  The aircraft's pilot George McHenry was killed in the accident that occurred in the morning at the airport.  A few weeks ago, the county lost another pilot Captain John Barger when his plane crashed down as well.

Presidential candidate Romney was scheduled to appear in Colorado for an event, however it was cancelled after the accident was reported.  

"Due to a plane crash involving a small aircraft at the Pueblo airport that is under investigation we are no longer going to Pueblo,"the Republican candidate's traveling press secretary Rick Gorka said to reporters. "We do not want to interfere with the investigation or any emergency response efforts."

Family and friends of McHenry are mourning the lost of McHenry who was regarded as a "first-rate pilot."
