Kim Kardashian and Kanye West: Kim K Prepares for a Fam by Freezing her Eggs, Getting a New Kitten

While there have been no rumors of a Kim Kardashian and Kanye West baby (yet), it looks like the reality star is ready to keep her options open when it comes to pregnancy. On E!'s season finale of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," Kim K is administered a hormone shot by her mother Kris, insisting to viewers that she "wants to keep her options open" for when she feels the "time is right."

According to the 31-year-old reality star, "I'm glad I'm freezing my eggs. I want to be prepared when the time is right."

On the episode prior to the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" finale, Kim visits a fertility doctor with younger sis Khloe to learn more information about freezing her eggs. While Kim gets the healthy thumbs-up to start hormonal treatment whenever she pleases, Khloe got the unsettling news that she is not ovulating regularly. On Sunday evening's episode, Khloe had to share the unfortunate news with her husband Lamar Odom and family - "I am not ovulating. I now have to be put on a chemical to spark some chemical to make my body release an egg."

Just because Khloe didn't ovulate doesn't exactly mean there's no chance of her getting pregnant - she just might need some outside help for that to happen (maybe good material for yet another spinoff show?).

Meanwhile, Kim K claims that she's always wanted a family, but just hasn't "taken the time to find someone." Maybe third time's a charm with current beau Kanye? Looks like Kim is well underway for a potential Kardashian-West baby to become a reality. In the meantime, the popular Hollywood socialite has debuted a new, furrier member of the Kardashian clan - the adorable teacup Persian kitten Mercy. Dawh.
