The Batman prequel, Gotham, is back from its short break on Fox. As more DC Comics super-villains make their way onto the TV screen, Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) have 24 hours to stop The Electrocutioner in 'What The Little Bird Told Him.'

After escaping from Arkham Asylum, The Electrocutioner is now walking the streets. Not only does he want his stuff back, the Eclectrocutioner wants revenge against the people who backstabbed him. He tests out his machine on one of the traitors, turning him insane.

Back at the precinct, the captain is going over info on their escaped maniac. Gordon arrives at a bad time, when the police commissioner shows up. To get his detective badge back, Gordon is given 24 hours to arrest the Eclectrocutioner.

After remembering his father's funeral, Carmine Falcone walks out with his mistress. Because she is young, Carmine wants to provide her with a future. After Carmine leaves, his mistress is suddenly kidnapped.

Edward Nygma reveals to the detectives that their Arkham escapee was a career criminal. His records were changed on purpose and he was forced to be incarcerated at the asylum. Bullock and Gordon finally have a lead and search for clues inside the stolen Arkham vehicle.

Carmine's mistress is taken back to Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith)'s club. This is all part of Mooney's plan to get Falcone to step down as mob boss and leave Gotham City. Knowing Fish is behind this, Carmine will do what she says and run away with his mistress, who really does have feelings for him.

Dr. Lesile Thompkins (Morena Baccarin) arrives at the precinct when the detectives only have 17 hours left. The inmates make a doll to curse someone they are mad at. The Electrocutioner made a doll that resembled Sal Maroni (David Zayas), the mob boss who betrayed him and sent him to Arkham.

Maroni is having a laugh with his crew when Penguin is called away by Falcone. Penguin is electrocuted before he even makes it out the room. A bomb is then triggered, which forces Carmine to run to Gordon for protection.

With Maroni beside him, Penguin wakes up and blurts out Falcone's name. Victor Zsasz tires to convince Falcone to fight back against Moony but fails. Though Maroni knows Penguin is hiding something, he allows him to leave the precinct.

The Electrocutioner arrives, shocking everyone to the floor. Gordon fights his bodyguard, Aaron, but loses his gun. After throwing water onto his suit, Gordon finally has the Electrocutioner under arrest.

While Gordon is given his badge back, the Penguin finally arrives at Falcone's place, telling him that his mistress is Mooney's mole. Falcone arrives at Mooney's club and meets with his mistress. He knows she betrayed his trust and Fish used his mother to get to him.

After unleashing Zsasz and his crew unto the nightclub, Fish is held at gunpoint. After choking his mistress to death, Carmine thanks Mooney for making him feel alive again. Penguin is now the new owner of Fish's nightclub.

At the precinct's locker room, Gordon meets with Lesile again. Just as they are making out, duty calls for Gordon again; there has been a shooting at Mooney's place.

Fish screwed up and has been taken hostage in Gotham. Readers, what did you think of What The Little Bird Told Him?
