Love And Hip Hop New York Diamond Strawberry Responds To Calling Daughter 'A Dog'

"Love and Hip Hop New York" reality star Diamond Strawberry says that she regrets comparing her daughter to a dog on the VH1 show.

The newest star told Vlad TV, "I feel so stupid about that. I really do. That is the one thing in the season that I wish I could take back- the dog reference to my daughter." She added, "For anyone that knows me, knows the kind of mother I am. My daughter knows that she's my world. My daughter knows that I've sacrificed so much for her." She added, "Dealing with all that negative backlash was tough, it still is tough that people are trying to discredit me as a mother."

"LHHNYC" fans slammed the new reality star for ignoring her daughter in Los Angeles to secure her relationship with cast mate and boyfriend, Cisco. The freshman reality star shocked fans when she revealed that she never told her boyfriend that she had a 6-year--old daughter nearly after two years of dating and Twitter sounded off!

In episode 2, Diamond admitted that she's never seen his apartment and has been staying with other people. When her mother, Lisa arrived to New York to surprise her daughter, the plot thickened when her mother revealed that the young reality star has not revealed to Cisco that she had a daughter.

"Honestly I didn't think things between us would get this serious, so, I didn't tell him about her. That's not something I automatically tell people, and so as time progressed I didn't know how to tell him about her. I'm scared that once I tell him about her, he's going to leave me," she said in her confessional.
