Don Cheadle Talks Marvel's 'Avengers: Age of Ultron', 'House Of Lies' SPOILERS. Hanging Out With Robert Downey Jr & Stand Up Comedy Career with Seth Meyers [VIDEO]

Don Cheadle talked The Avengers: Age of Ultron and hanging out with co-stars like Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson on Last Night With Seth Meyers on Monday. Cheadle also gave away a huge House of Lies spoiler regarding co-star Kristen Bell and explained just how tough it is to perform at awards shows like the Golden Globes, which saw Cheadle present Oceans 11 co-star George Clooney with the Cecil B Demille award.

As Cheadle explained, shows like the Golden Globes are tough as "You're on display, you're there to watch the thing, but you are thing, so it's kind of hard to relax."

"And," he added, "you've got this fake smile plastered in your face the whole time like 'Oh, I'm sure I'm not going to win tonight.'"

He also added that the crowd is full of "A lot of celebrities who've already lost."

As for House Of Lies Cheadle revealed the parenthood of Kristen Bell's baby, noting "I am the baby's daddy," and added that working on the show is great. "It's a joy to go to work."

Cheadle also talked about his short but sweet stand up career, which was based primarily around jokes based on old comic strips. Back while he was in high school in Denver, Cheadle revealed he and a friend hit up a comedy open mic night, being "super cocky" and proceeded to kill. "It went really well," revealed Cheadle, "We did things like dissect the comic strip Nancy."

"There's very complex humor," laughed Cheadle. "We crushed it. We came back the next night, did our material again, threw in some new stuff to mix it up, killed; some Kathy stuff. Fred Basset. Then I invited my parents, because y'know, we were doing pretty well. And, uh, it didn't go so well, the last performance."

Cheadle also spoke to Meyers about his involvement in the new Joss Whedon-helmed Marvel movie, The Avengers: Age of Ultron, reprising his role from the Iron Man franchise of Captain James Rhodes. Cheadle - who was also famously involved in the Oceans 11 ensemble - chatted about hanging out with his co-stars like Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson and Chris Hemsworth.

"After Iron Man, Robert and I struck up a friendship and we're both very busy, but we get to see each other time and again, and now this new Avengers crew, some of them I know from other things, but getting to do these movies and traveling around the world, it doesn't suck," he grinned.

Meyers then nailed Cheadle with a clip from the little known Sidekicks, in which Chealde played a gang leader. So... does that cast still hang out, came the query. "We hang out were those cut off jean jackets," replied Cheadle.
