Breakup season has claimed yet another couple. This time Elizabeth Olsen and her fiancé Boyd Holbrook have called off their engagement. The Avengers: Age of Ultron star and her fiancé have called things off less than a year after getting engaged.

According to Us Weekly, rumors were swirling that a breakup between the two wasn't very far off, as she was spotted at the beginning of the month at a farmer's marker without her engagement ring. Also the fact that Boyd attended the Golden Globes last week, by himself, was another sign of what was to come.

This news comes as a shock to fans as the couple just moved in together and has been somewhat inseparable in the last couple of months.

"They've been by each other for a while, taking a lot of couple time," a source told the news site. "They moved into a place in Brooklyn a few months ago."

What makes the split even more puzzling is that Elizabeth just spoke out to Marie Claire UK about wedding planning and even having kids.

"I'm relaxed about it," the star mentioned of wedding planning, adding, "I am excited and planning ideas because it's fun- it's just like throwing a party to celebrate life. I love being in a relationship a lot."

She also commented that her mom hopes for her to raise her family in Los Angeles.

"My mother would love it if I was in L.A. with kids," Mary-Kate and Ashley's sister explained. "I loved growing up in L.A., but I always think about places I've never been to before, like Oregon."

The couple met on the set of their 2012 flick Very Good Girls, and hit it off immediately.
