Honey Boo Boo Child Show: America Infatuated By Baby Southern Belle

Honey Boo Boo Child whose real name is Alana Thompson has won the hearts of many Americans after the launch of her TLC TV show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo."  At the start of the the show's season, many people turned onto the show out of curiosity to see how "crazy" the family might be. Instead, these curious viewers converted to become weekly regulars in order to catch a dose of Honey Boo Boo.

There are also strong critics against the reality show.  Alana's mother is aware of it and knows that their family cannot please everyone out in the world.

"Some say they love the show, others criticize it, but they know everything about it. We call them closet fans," June said.

The TV show airs on Wednesday evenings at 10:00 p.m. only on TLC.  A special three hour special titled "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, Family Sized" will run from 8:00 - 11:00 p.m.
