Before E.L. James announced the official cast for the highly-anticipated movie adaptation of her hit erotica book series "Fifty Shades of Grey," Robert Pattinson remained a kinky Christian Grey fan-favorite.

But the S&M-inspired role eventually went to 32-year-old Irish heartthrob, Jamie Dornan. Probably a good thing, since R-Patz already made a name for himself as the dark and mysterious vampire Edward Cullen in the beloved "Twilight" saga.

So, does Kristen Stewart's on-and-offscreen ex have any words of wisdom for the sexy film franchise newbie?

Not really... the last time Dornan and 28-year-old Pattinson hung-out, they actually had a bit too much to drink!

In a recent interview with Variety, Dornan explains:

"I've been around Rob enough, I've seen what it's been like for him... [But] I don't remember what we talked about the last time I saw him - I think we just got drunk."
