While a hair-bashing feud took-off amongst fans following Miley Cyrus' arrival at the 2012 MTV VMAs, where the "LOL" star sported a very similar do' to that of pop star Pink, the two celebrities seem to have taken the fashion "mishap" in amusing stride. Despite rainy weather conditions, Pink appeared on New York's "Today" show to promote her new album "The Truth About Love" on Tuesday, and following her performance the "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" songstress insisted that she applauds Cyrus for trying out such a bold, new style.

During her appearance on the "Today" show Pink stated, "Everyone has long, brown hair. When two girls get fearless and shave their heads, it's a big deal. I think we're just a little more daring." Looks like Pink is flattered by Cyrus' funky hairstyle choice, and would love to see more independent women follow suite in the pursuit of their own, original fashion senses.

In no way does Pink believe that Cyrus intentionally "stole" her short, blonde look (some fans would argue otherwise). Instead the 33-year-old "Raise Your Glass" star insists, "I think she's beautiful. I think she rocks it way harder than I do."

Following the 2012 MTV VMAs, in response to a flurry of fan and critic reaction, Cyrus tweeted,

@MileyCyrus: "Woahh 2 girls have blonde short hair! The whole world should go in to panic mode. Redickkkk."

Looks like gossip surrounding Cyrus' new do' has finally settled down since the summer. Wonder what her next "controversial" move will be? While Pink claims the "Party in the U.S.A" star rocks her own style, it seems that Cyrus is currently attempting to take over the stereotypical rock 'n' roll, bad girl persona. What do fans think?
