AMC's The Walking Dead is in the midst of Season 5, but fans know a spinoff is coming in the not-too-distant future. We know the series will take place in Los Angeles, and now a possible title has been revealed.

Nerdist reports the spinoff will be called Fear The Walking Dead and that one of the lead characters in the series will feature in a six-episode arc during Season 6 of The Walking Dead, though it's unclear how exactly this would happen. Perhaps we'd see flashbacks of this character or somehow the character meets up with Rick Grimes' group in the present day.

The Walking Dead returns with new Season 5 episodes next month, and fans will get to see the survivors back on the road after the events of the midseason finale in which Beth lost her life. We'll also get to see how they grieve, and Daryl is of particular interest in this regard.

The two had grown close, and Daryl had been looking for Beth since she got kidnapped in late Season 4. So how does the crossbow wielding badass respond to his friend's passing? The "Mega Buzz" column at TV Guide has the answer from the man himself.

"Beth meant a lot to Daryl and I feel like she was, in his eyes, one of the only good people left in the world," Norman Reedus told the site. "Daryl didn't think that people thought [like her] any longer. She was definitely a beacon of hope for him and he was sad to watch her go."

But will Beth's good nature and optimism stay with Daryl now? "He's full of grief at this moment and he'll probably shut down a bit," Reedus said. "On this show, something devastating happens and you never ever get to go through it because something else horrible happens. There'll be grieving and there'll be anger and there'll be outbursts. He's ready to just ambush things and just attack."

And what about the ever-present desire from the fans for a romantic relationship between Daryl and Carol (Melissa McBride)? "I never say never," Reedus said. "I think if he felt those feelings before, he didn't quite understand what those feelings were. But I think there was a part of him that was open to that."
