MStars News has learned that the founder of A$AP Mob, A$AP Yams was finally laid to rest on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, in New York City as family, friends and fans said their final goodbyes.

MStars News previously reported that the rapper's funeral was held at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel in New York, the same place where celebrities like Aaliyah, Notorious B.I.G., Joan Rivers, Heath Ledger and more were memorialized.

The service was also made public via Twitter, where A$AP Lou Banga tweeted:

"If u would like to come pay ur respects to Yams his service is on 1/25 from 9:30am-1 at Frank E Campbell 1076 Madison Ave New York NY 10028."

Part of Yams' obituary was shared also via social media:

A$AP Yams was only 26 years old when he passed away on Sunday, Jan. 18. The cause of Yams' death still remains unknown, but many reports speculated that the rapper died from an overdose.

Yams' rap partner, A$AP Ant addressed the rumors, and said: "People were saying that Yams overdosed on drugs - he didn't overdose on any drugs," Ant said about his friend. "I feel like people feel that way because that's all he's in pictures doing. When you see A$AP Yams you see Hennessey or purple drink, you see some type of controlled substance or illegal narcotic."

Joey Fatts also tweeted: "My brother ain't die from no overdose. Fuck all you bitch n****s. My brother had severe sleep apnea. And was killing you fuck boys daily."

The memorial service was a quiet one, as mourners showed up to say goodbye, seen in the Twitter photo below.
